Black Future Weekend

Assisting the lead event manager of Van Jones' DreamCorps, Sadiq oversaw talent management of all VIP speakers and guests. Additionally, Sadiq was tasked with managing the experience for all on-site partners, including RedBull, Lemon Perfect, Uncle Nearest, and Microsoft to ensure successful activations.

The Hill Harvest

Restoring a community tradition after a 6-year hiatus, Sadiq was instrumental in executing The Hill Harvest 2021. Originally founded circa 2004 as a Family & Friends Day to commemorate the tragic loss of Johnathan Brown and Delroy Mayo in Fall 1998, the block party brought together scores of neighbors, vendors, and youth from the Wellington Hill community to celebrate Halloween festivities.

NEO SOUL NIGHT

Working with the Black Student Forum of Boston College, Sadiq was tasked with revitalizing the series after a 4-year hiatus. Leveraging his partnership with AA Management, he supported the student organization by booking emerging talent, Tobi Lou for a fraction of his asking price.

Additionally, Sadiq not only developed and executed the performance agreement, but lead the efforts on coordinating day-of staffing, venue selection, run-of-show, sourcing production needs, and designing marketing collateral + promotional schedules. The result was a memorable experience that would lead to a partnership with the Campus Activities Board, doubling the event's budget following its success.

Berklee NYC Presents: Writing for the market

Tapped to support William F. Wells in launching a first-of-its-kind Berklee alumni program, Sadiq helped lay the groundwork for a 10-day summer-intensive writing program at BerkleeNYC. Housed at Power Station Studios in Hell's Kitchen, Sadiq's coordination efforts would secure module leaders across the Film, Advertising, and Artists spaces to expose 10 of Berklee's most talented students to tangible career opportunities to monetize music. Additionally, Sadiq was directly responsible for coordinating lodging, catering, logistics, quality assurance of student work, and general feedback on the program.
